Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Health Care Assistants to join our caring and progressive team in Hawkhurst Community Hospital.

You will share the CARE values of the trust and work within a close-knit group of people who bring the feeling of community to the Hawkhurst team, through their hard work and dedication to the people of the area.

As an HCA you would support the RN’s in offering first class care to the patients who are admitted to our service. This involves supporting patients with the activities of daily living, driving forward rehabilitation programmes and caring for those patients at the end of their life.

We welcome flexible working arrangements over a 24-hour period and offer a range of these with a variety of work life balance initiatives that mean we have the perfect job for you

As a Band 2 Health Care Assistant you will work closely with all users of our services and their families, friends and carers who all play an invaluable contribution in how our users experience our services. Band 2 Health Care Assistants are expected to be kind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services provided across the health economy by:
